Camden County IDRC
We are also welcoming Warren County IDRC clients.
Camden County College was chosen to operate the Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) to service individuals convicted of operating a vehicle while under the influence for Camden and Warren Counties. Our mission is to provide professional and courteous service to individuals who have been mandated to attend the 12-Hour Educational Program, and who may require additional assessment and treatment.
12-Hour Educational Program
If you have received a letter from the State of New Jersey’s Intoxicated Driver Program, you must attend the IDRC class as per the scheduled time and location on your letter. (Sample below)
The 12-hour class is broken into two consecutive days, both of which must be completed. The purpose of the class is to provide information on New Jersey laws regarding drugs and alcohol while operating a vehicle, substance use and abuse, the impact of drugs and alcohol on physical and mental health, driver safety, and to help prevent recurring substance-related driving offenses.
During class, attendees will be individually screened to determine if an assessment by a professional substance use treatment agency is necessary.
All classes will be held during non-business hours for your convenience. Officers of Public Safety will be on-site at all times.
If you do not speak English, or are deaf or hard of hearing, please contact the office via email at IDRC@961381.com
